How do you work as both photographer and hair & makeup artist on the same day?
The simplest answer is: good planning and experience.
I begin the day with hair and makeup, which creates an incredibly calm and connected atmosphere from the very first moment. It allows me to be fully present with you and your bridal party, and – camera always close by – I’m already capturing the emotional, beautiful in-between moments that happen naturally while you’re getting ready. No detail is missed, because I’m already there.
Once your styling is complete, I transition seamlessly into my role as photographer – with full awareness of your look and the timeline.
To make sure the groom’s getting ready, the ceremony setup and all design and location details are captured, too, I either work with my husband, who is a photographer and videographer in one or with a trusted assistant. Alternatively, we can structure the timeline to allow me to photograph everything in a calm and elegant way – often with just a short gap between styling and your dress reveal.
This holistic approach means everything is cohesive, intentional and connected.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely- destination weddings are my specialty. Whether it’s the Italian coast, the French countryside or the Swiss Alps, I’m always ready to travel. I handle my own bookings and logistics – which is both free of charge for you.
Can I book just one service - photography or hair & makeup only?
Yes, depending on your needs and date. Some clients book me solely as their photographer or only for the styling. Unfortunately, as I have limited booking availability, I only book the combo or photography alone during high season (in Europe between May and October).
Do you work with a second shooter or assistant?
For larger weddings or multi-day celebrations, yes – I often bring a trusted second shooter or assistant to ensure full coverage and flexibility. My team shares my visual style and work ethic and always works with the same sensitivity and discretion.
How far in advance should we book you?
As soon as possible. Destination weddings often involve more coordination and fewer available weekends – many of my couples book 8 – 18 months in advance. But if you’re planning more last-minute, still reach out to me – if I’m available, I’ll always try to make it work.
Do we do a trial beforehand?
Yes, a trial is absolutely recommended. For multi-day weddings, I will arrive a day before, so that we can do a trial. If a trial isn’t possible due to travel, we’ll do a detailed consultation in advance, including visual inspiration, skin & hair prep and a tailored plan for your wedding day. I always make sure you fell seen, heard and confident.
How long does bridal styling take on the day of the wedding?
Depending on your chosen style, bridal hair & makeup takes between 2 and 3 hours. It’s an intentional, calming start of the day – not rushed. If I’m styling others (bridesmaids, moms), we plan in additional time or bring a trusted assistant. You’ll have a clear timeline in advance, so everything flows smoothly.
What kind of products do you use?
I use a carefully curated kit of high-performance luxury products – including Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Makeup by Mario, Chanel and others I trust on every skin type. My priority is long-lasting, flawless wear that looks radiant on camera and natural in person.
Can you also style my bridal party or guests?
Absolutely. Depending on the size of your group and timeline, I either style them myself or bring a trusted stylist from my team. Everyone’s look is tailored to harmonize with your vision – elegant and effortless.
Can I change my look for the evening?
Yes! In the combo package as photographer and stylist I am by your side for small touch ups or even a different evening look. We’ll discuss your vision in advance and see what’s realistically possible within your timeline.
