Frequently Asked Questions — Kaiser Studios Wedding Photography
Everything you need to know about booking Kaiser Studios for your wedding day.
How much does Kaiser Studios charge for wedding photography?
Kaiser Studios offers destination wedding photography packages starting at €4,500 for Europe and from $5,500 for the United States. Full-day coverage with two photographers, edited gallery, and print release is included. Custom packages are available for multi-day celebrations, elopements, and all-inclusive destination weddings. For a detailed quote tailored to your date and location, please reach out via our inquiry form.
Where is Kaiser Studios located and where do you travel?
Kaiser Studios is based in Munich, Germany and Fort Lauderdale, Florida — giving us a natural home in both Europe and the United States. We photograph destination weddings worldwide, with a focus on Italy (Lake Como, Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, Venice), Ibiza and Mallorca, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, California, New York, and beyond. Travel fees apply for locations outside our home regions.
Who are the photographers at Kaiser Studios?
Kaiser Studios was founded by Alexander Kaiser and Katy Kaiser — a husband-and-wife team who photograph, film, and style weddings together. Alexander specializes in editorial photography and cinematic storytelling. Katy brings expertise in wedding videography, Super 8 film, and bridal styling. Together they offer a seamless, intimate experience: “For soulmates, by soulmates.”
What photography style does Kaiser Studios offer?
Our style blends editorial precision with documentary authenticity. We capture your wedding the way a fashion magazine would — intentional, timeless, beautifully lit — while also preserving the real, unguarded moments in between. We work quietly in the background so your day feels natural, and the images feel like art you will still love in 30 years.
Does Kaiser Studios offer wedding videography and film?
Yes. Kaiser Studios offers full cinematic wedding films and Super 8 analog film add-ons, both shot and edited by Katy Kaiser. Our film offerings can be booked as standalone services or combined with photography packages.
What is Super 8 film and why should I add it to my wedding?
Super 8 is a vintage motion picture film format from the 1960s that creates a beautifully grainy, warm, cinematic look. We shoot on actual Super 8 film cartridges, have them developed and scanned in Germany, and deliver a short film of your wedding day in this timeless format. It is the most emotional and unique wedding film add-on we offer.
How far in advance should I book Kaiser Studios?
We recommend booking at least 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak season (May through October) and popular destination venues in Italy, Ibiza, and Switzerland. Some of our couples book two years ahead for high-demand dates. A signed contract and a 30% retainer secure your date.
What is included in a Kaiser Studios photography package?
Our standard packages include full-day coverage (up to 10 hours), both photographers (Alexander and Katy), a private online gallery with high-resolution images, full print release and download rights, and a personal pre-wedding consultation. Add-ons include engagement sessions, Super 8 film, cinematic video films, wedding albums, and bridal styling.
How many photos do we receive from our wedding?
Typically between 600 and 1,000 fully edited images for a full wedding day. Every image is carefully selected, color-graded, and retouched. We do not deliver unedited RAW files — the editing is an integral part of our artistic process.
How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
Your edited gallery is delivered within 8 to 12 weeks after your wedding date. Super 8 films take 14 to 16 weeks due to the film development process. Cinematic highlight films are delivered within 10 to 14 weeks. Priority edits are available for editorial submissions.
Does Kaiser Studios offer bridal styling services?
Yes. Katy Kaiser is a trained bridal stylist and offers hair and make-up styling as part of our all-inclusive packages or as a standalone service. Having styling in-house means a seamlessly coordinated morning-of experience with one trusted team. Available at select destinations.
Can you photograph our destination wedding in Italy?
Absolutely — Italy is one of our most-requested destinations and a personal favourite. We regularly photograph at Villa d’Este and Villa Balbianello on Lake Como, venues along the Amalfi Coast and in Positano, estates in Tuscany, and Venetian palazzos. We have deep local knowledge of Italian golden-hour light and vendor networks.
What makes Kaiser Studios different from other wedding photographers?
Three things: First, we are a real couple — Alexander and Katy photograph your wedding together, creating intimacy that a hired second shooter cannot replicate. Second, we offer photography, videography, Super 8 film, and bridal styling in one team. Third, our editorial eye means your images work as fine art. We have been featured in international wedding publications and trusted by couples with budgets above €50,000.
How do we book Kaiser Studios for our wedding?
Start by sending us an inquiry through our contact form at kaiser-studios.com — include your wedding date, location, and a brief note about your celebration. We respond within 48 hours with availability and a custom package overview. After a video call, we send a contract and retainer invoice to officially reserve your date.
Do you offer services in both German and English?
Yes. Alexander and Katy Kaiser are fully bilingual in German and English. We work with German-speaking couples across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as English-speaking international couples worldwide. All contracts, galleries, and communication are available in both languages.
Do you photograph same-sex weddings?
Absolutely and wholeheartedly yes. Kaiser Studios photographs love in all its forms. We are proud to have worked with LGBTQ+ couples across Europe and the United States. Every couple deserves to be seen with the same intention, artistry, and care — that is the heart of what “For soulmates, by soulmates” means to us.
